Lindley represents employers and management in connection with a wide variety of employment and labor matters, ranging from employer counseling and advice to wrongful termination, wage and hour and employment discrimination litigation.
Lindley’s counseling employment law experience includes advising employers in all aspects of employment practices, including hiring and firing, employee discipline, wage and hour law, workplace privacy, internal investigations, leaves of absence, as well as drafting documents relating to all aspects of the employment relationship including employment agreements, employee handbooks and workplace policies. She also has ample experience in sexual harassment and other human resources training, COVID-19 and other workplace compliance issues. Lindley counsel’s employers on all Human Resource issues on a regular basis and works closely with businesses to create functional Human Resources plans and procedures.
Lindley also has extensive litigation experience, handling wage and hour claims, wrongful termination and discrimination cases. Lindley has successfully tried and mediated state and federal employment matters. She also regularly prepares DFEH and EEOC response letters and handles labor hearings with the California Labor Commissioner and the EEOC.
